MONGOLIAN ASSOCIATION OF MEDICAL JOURNAL EDITORS (MAMJE)

The first meeting of Mongolian Medical Journal Initiators was convened on 25 April, 2008 and representatives of Mongolian medical journals of “Mongolian Medical Sciences”, “Mongolian Journal of Communicable Diseases”, “Innovation”, “Ophthalmology”, “Surgery”, Diagnose”, “Oncology”, “Family medicine”, “Drug information” were participated in it.    

Academician P. Nyamdavaa, President of Mongolian Academy of Medical Sciences and Vice president of Mongolian Journal of Communicable Diseases (current editor-in-chief of the journal) was appointed as a president of Mongolian Association of Medical Journal Editors, Dr.N. Erdenekhuu, editor-in-chief of Innovation journal as an executive director and D.Ouyn Erdene, secretary of Journal “Oncology” was appointed as secretary for the Association.

MAMJE is non-governmental, non-profit organization that serves society and its member organizations. Moreover, it works to improve the quality of Medical research works in Mongolia, to build capacity of research workers in writing, publishing and editing of research works, raise the quality of Mongolian Medical Journals up to the global common standards, to make research workers’ work available for public use and create possibilties to take citation from them and gradually to make contribution into the development of Mongolian Health Science.
